The Williamsburg Sports Festival is in partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and will be using the FCA Volunteer database, the Volunteer Impact Portal (VIP) to provide a secure and safe space for our athletes.

3. Once in the portal - Search for WILLIAMSBURG SPORTS FESTIVAL
4. Williamsburg Sports Festival will be listed as an event- APPLY to Volunteer

2. Enter 4 References
3. Complete your Spiritual Profile
4. 2 FCA Standard Trainings (See Below)

FAQS about VIP

This seems like a long process- is all of this necessary?

FCA’s VIP was designed to protect student athletes as well as equip volunteers. FCA wants to ensure than the volunteers entering schools or Huddles under the name of FCA pass background checks and theologically align with FCA’s core truths.

Does this all need to be done in one sitting?

It can be done in one sitting- but we understand volunteers’ busy schedules. VIP allows for this process to be done intermittently.

We suggest that you get started with creating your account, applying for Williamsburg Sports Festival, and start your reference process.
